“A farewell is necessary before we can meet again, and meeting again, after moments or a lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.” – Richard Bach

A WORD FROM THE BASILEUS
Bro. Wayne Williams, Basileus
Omicron Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc
It is truly a privilege to lead a chapter of individuals with differing interests and passions united by common community values. I am proud to not only be the Basileus, but also a charter member of the Omicron Nu Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Incorporated. I am eager to see what this year has in store for us as we strive to apply the principles of Christian Brotherhood in every aspect of our service to the citizens of Round Rock and Williamson County. I invite you to take some time to explore our website and get to know the exceptional men in our chapter and learn more about our community activities.

WYF History
On Friday evening, November 17, 1911, three Howard University undergraduate students, with the assistance of their faculty adviser, gave birth to the OmegaPsi Phi Fraternity. This event occurred in the office of biology Professor Ernest E. Just, the faculty adviser, in the Science Hall (now known as Thirkield Hall). The three liberal arts students were Edgar A. Love, Oscar J. Cooper and Frank Coleman. From the initials of the Greek phrase meaning “friendship is essential to the soul,” the name Omega Psi Phi was derived. The phrase was selected as the motto.
